California Title-24 Building Codes required that much of the original
stucco be removed to allow for structural plywood to be fastened to the outside wall-studs for shear strength.
Luckily, we were able to preserve all of the original patterned stucco
on the front of the house. But on the sides and rear of the house new stucco was necessary.
Stucco was a 3 step, multi-day process: (1) scratch-coat, (2) brown-coat, (3) finish coat. It is now complete.
