Whatever it was it's now gone!

At some point in the history of the house a large "container" was created out of concrete.  It was easily 6" thick on all sides, and 20" tall, and was placed around the master bedroom and carport.  We aren't sure why.

It was removed many weeks ago -- not only because it was ugly, but because we are installing glass door-wall sliders in each bedroom.
