Excavator gets the job done

The trench proved to be too much for manual labor.  The plumbing company brought an excavator to dig a massive trench from the house to the street to make way for the new ABS sewer line.

 We mostly avoided a complete demolition of the driveway by re-routing the new ABS line alongside the driveway and in front of the sidewalk.
