Grinding the concrete floors
This weekend we ground the concrete floors, which removed old tile thinset mortar, de-burring carpet glue, and removing remaining nail heads and floor paint. It was a hard work. It required the manual use of a handheld concrete surface grinder with a diamond cup wheel and attached shop vac for dust removal. We finished the Living Room, Dining Room, Office, and Guest Bedroom. It not only looks great but will prepare us for the terrazzo installation to come.
