MCM furniture restoration

We bought this little 1950s fiberglass chair in Indianapolis for a few bucks.  While it's not an iconic style or designer, it's perfect for the period.  Unfortunately, the metal legs were weak and the welding was coming apart. Luckily, one of our new desert friends, and fellow Mid Century Modern enthusiast, owns a metal fabrication company.  He took the chair and restored the metal legs by adding additional support.   Notice the new "Eiffel-style" metal base.
